Alternatives to Common Prescriptions

Dr. Morningstar will discuss common conditions for which medications are prescribed including high blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, and more, as well as the possible side effects of these medications. He will then offer choices in vitamin and herbal substitutions that you may like to discuss with your doctor as an alternative. Living a healthy lifestyle and beneficial food choices will also be discussed.
Dr. Morningstar graduated in 2002 from Palmer College in Davenport. He practices at the Natural Wellness & Pain Relief Centers of Michigan, one of the first multidisciplinary clinics offering comprehensive chiropractic, traditional medicine, pain management, acupuncture, anti-aging medicine, and functional medicine services in Michigan. There he serves as the Director of Chiropractic Services. He also serves as the Director of Research for the Pettibon Institute, the non-profit education arm of the Pettibon System, a position he has held since 2003. Dr. Morningstar has been published several times in the biomedical peer-reviewed literature, and is currently working on three books on such subjects as scoliosis and healthy living.
