Faith the Reading Dog

Faith, the therapy dog, will be at the Marguerite deAngeli Branch this spring on Tuesdays from 3:30-5:30.  Call 810-664-6971 to reserve a 15 minute appointment to read to this sweet golden retriever.

Faith, a certified therapy dog, has had extensive training and has worked at nursing homes, schools and funeral homes. The primary goal of this program is to help the child relax and become less anxious, to help the child focus on reading without fear of being judged, and to create an enjoyable experience that will increase the child's self-esteem and confidence.
