This exciting program, called “Roller Coasters,” is aimed at kids from
third to sixth grade. What better way to learn about the physics of
energy, force and motion than through hands-on science? Students will
experience these principles first hand as they build and modify their
own roller coaster designs. There will be two 50 minute workshops to
choose from, one at 1 p.m. and one at 2 p.m.
Registration is required and can be made in person at the library or by calling 664-6971.
Parental attendance is not required for these programs, but it is
allowed. There will be fantastic opportunities for families to explore
science and work together.
The Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum is one
of the preeminent science museums in the state. The library is pleased
to be able to bring the excitement of working with real scientists to the
children of Lapeer County.
This program is part of our Super Science Saturdays series. Sponsored by Friends of the Marguerite deAngeli Library.
