Money Smart Week began in Chicago in 2002 as a partnership between the Federal Reserve Bank and the Money Smart Advisory Council, a group of citizens who wanted to see people make wise financial decisions in the wake of the downturned economy. The American Library Association joined this initiative in 2011 encouraging libraries to provide information to their communities to promote financial literacy in their area.

Please call the Marguerite deAngeli Branch Library (810)664-6971 to register for these educational programs.
