Hospice Advantage is looking for friendly visitors, respite for families, office help and other tasks related to helping the families and patients at this difficult time in their lives. Volunteers are needed for patients in long term care facilities or in home care. Training will be provided at no cost to the volunteer. As little as one hour per week of your time could make a big difference to someone in need.
Hospice Advantage is a Medicare, Medicaid Certified program providing superior end-of-life care services. Hospice Advantage was started to better serve the needs of terminally ill patients in the US. In November, 2004, Hospice Advantage was founded by Rod Hildebrant, MSA, CHCE, a health care executive with more than 25 years experience in the home health care and hospice industries.
No registration is required for this program. Ryan Johnson from Hospice Advantage can be contacted at (810) 347-4587 if you have any questions. For more information about this or other upcoming library events please visit www.library.lapeer.org.
